‘Beach hut prices sink as pandemic boom fades’

– Paul Denley, of Oakham Wealth Management, said: “Beach huts were the poster child of pandemic-era exuberance. Inevitably that froth was never going to last.” He warned that prices could soften further but that the supply of beach huts was “inherently limited” and urged owners against rushing to sell. “For anyone who bought at the peak, the temptation to crystallise a loss may be understandable, but panic-selling into weakness rarely ends well. “What we’re seeing now is a classic correction rather than a collapse.”
